May 14, 2007

Great job keeping your heads up after that 1st inning!
Corbett credits the team for keeping the faith.
Hi Team,

Great job yesterday everyone! The bats really came alive again and the defense came together and made some great plays after a rough start. Great job keeping your heads up after that 1st inning! This team is really improving with every game!

Great plays by Ian and Kenny in the infield! Great hitting by all!

Final Score (23-11) W

Nicole (Team Captain)

In addition, Coach Corbett would make an offical responce to team regarding a growing injury threat.

You will be required to stretch, short jog, and warm up... It's for your own good.
Corbett lays down the law to prevent injuries.
Hi Team,

Several people have minor injuries with various muscles, tendons, etc. which may well could have been prevented by stretching and a proper warm up. Therefore, in order to prevent more injuries before you can start practicing or playing in a game you will be required to stretch, short jog, and warm up throwing. It's for your own good. Please arrive an additional 5 minutes early to games to account for this. It would be nice to do this as a team if possible so please arrive on time.

If you are already injured please remember RICE (Rest & Ice + Ibrophen).

Take Care of Yourselves,
- Nicole (Team Captain)
